Mary
Foley - Author, Bodacious Women
Mary Foley is a national thought leader
for women, with a reputation for her spunk and experience.
Fresh out of college, Mary set aside her hard-earned engineering
degree, to search for a career that she loved. She took a job as
an $8 an hour customer service representative at a then-unknown
computer startup, called “America Online.”
During
AOL’s hyper-growth, Mary was promoted four times, and she survived
six layoffs, to become AOL’s first head of Corporate Training. But
her rapid rise through the ranks at AOL came to a sudden end, when
she hit the glass ceiling. Not satisfied to settle, Mary made the
bodacious decision to leave AOL and build her career another way.
She went
on to earn a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, and
became co-owner of a human resources company called HumanR. She
then started her own company, Bodacious! Ventures, where she
proudly refers to herself as “Woman in Charge.”
Through
her books, Bodacious! Woman, and Bodacious! Career,
speaking engagements, consulting, Live Like Your Nail Color
Club, and more, Mary inspires women to be bodacious and live
like their nail color.
And
Mary "Annie" Tobey of V Magazine for Women.
Annie’s writing path began as a freelance writer, for the
Richmond Times-Dispatch special supplements and for various other
local and national periodicals. She published her first book in
1990, For Any Young Mother Who Lives in a Shoe, and later worked
as staff writer for International Training Consultants, Inc. and
Life Logic, L.L.C. She still does limited freelance work, but V
has become the voice for her passion to help women find success
and joy. In her free time, she enjoys being active and outdoors,
especially hiking, running, kayaking, and trying to keep up with
her two active Australian shepherds
Meeting is full. We will be unable to accept walk-ins.
